As we continue to expand our reach, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. This role will focus on driving sales and business development by leveraging strong technical knowledge and relationship-building skills. Technical Sales Representative Key Responsibilities: - Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on the sale and promotion of our elevator products and services, helping to develop and maintain new markets such as the Chinese developer market. - Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on modernisation and new installation projects. - Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and technical support throughout the sales process. - Technical Consultation: Provide technical advice and consultation to clients, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored elevator solutions that meet their requirements. - Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. - Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and our business objectives. - Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. - Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and expand our market presence. Qualifications and Skills: - Tertiary Qualification in business/sales or relevant field. - Proven experience (at least two years) in technical sales; preferably within the elevator industry. - Strong understanding of elevator systems and components, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively. - Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English. - Demonstrated success in business development and building client relationships. - Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. - Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - A valid New Zealand driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
