Permanent, full-time (open to consideration of part time of at least 30 hours/week)
Upper Hutt City Council has created a new role in our Resource Consents and Compliance team, and we are now looking for the right person to fill the position. The core responsibilities of the Subdivision Compliance Officer are to process and undertake associated monitoring and compliance for subdivision certification and administer Councils’ Development Contribution Policy.
This role is suitable for someone with at least three years’ experience in the resource management field, and ideally have technical knowledge and application of subdivision certification and development contributions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be keen to build relationships with a wide range of Council advisors as well as the development community. We are looking for someone with great organisational skills, attention to detail, an ability to interpret legislation and be able to apply robust rationale with confidence in decision-making.

While the position and responsibilities have been scoped as full-time, we are happy to consider adjusting workloads of the role for at least 30 hours per week, if that is favourable to a suitable candidate. This is an important role and we’re recruiting for right team fit.
