IDEXX are currently seeking a part-time technician to complete specimen reception within our core laboratory, working in our modern custom designed laboratory in Hamilton, New Zealand. As a technician you will be preparing samples received from our veterinary clinic customers. This role will be 20 hours per week and will preferably work within the hours of 10am and 6pm and Saturday mornings.

You will have:
A Bachelor of Medical Science/or equivalent degree is preferrable but not essential.

Experience in specimen reception working within a multi-discipline diagnostics laboratory:

An understanding of IANZ and ISO 17025, 9001 standards

The ability to be work within the hours of 10am-6pm and Saturday Mornings.

Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment

Passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Commitment to our IDEXX values, diligent attention to our Quality system and Health & Safety policies/procedures.
