Key tasks of this role also include:
- Drawing on both internal and external sources to gather, analyse and report on remuneration within the University’s remuneration strategy.
- Providing data for remuneration surveys and utilising those reports to benchmark and advise on the University’s alignment within the tertiary sector and other markets.
- Reviewing and reporting on employee benefits, uptake, and market alignment.
- Where appropriate, providing information for policy reviews, career pathways, remuneration structures, and employment negotiations.
- Ensuring job evaluation processes and rules are followed consistently and equitably across the University.
- Providing analysis of evaluation outcomes, their alignment with job description design and salaries.
- Supporting and facilitating training and development initiatives.
- Supporting initiatives to retain, grow and support Māori and Pacific staff. including recruitment and recognition for career development programmes.
- Working in collaboration with the manager and team members to achieve the unit’s overall objectives.
- Working alongside the HR Data Analyst.
