Mo te tūranga | About the role:
You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work on an enterprise scale, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation - so your voice will be heard, and your opinions valued.

Being a member of the Infrastructure Chapter involves looking after the day-to-day operational capabilities within the squads and investing in a number of fundamental services that underpin the technology stack at ASB. We are looking for a mix of technical skills to support the following activities in Identity Security

• Focussed on lifecycle management of workforce accounts and seamless access to a variety of downstream services
• Experience in, and comprehensive knowledge of, Identity Security Systems
• Identity and Authentication methodologies and lifecycle management
• Microsoft Active Directory config experience
• Workflow management and business process improvement
• Authentication and provisioning tools such as Azure SSO, SCIM
• Engagement with stakeholders and collaborations across various platforms, squads and tribes
• Conduct audit, analysis, reporting and remediation, in order to manage and maintain control and compliance requirements

We advocate agile, fully cross functional teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day. We are looking for a mix of skills, including:

• 5+ years' experience in Active Directory
• Active Directory architecture skills
• Continuous improvement of processes and solutions
• Sufficient scripting skills with bash/Power Shell
• Documentation and knowledge sharing
• Implementation skills and a proven track record of 'owning the work from start to finish'
• Mentoring and uplifting squad capability
• Understanding of enterprise vulnerability management and security patching
• Comfortable working in a banking environment with regulatory requirements
• Experience managing identity in Entra ID

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

• Cloud Certifications (Azure preferred)
• Integration technologies and APIs
• PAM* (Cyber Ark) solution management skills
• Understanding of Microsoft Graph API
• Understanding of API authorization mechanisms
• Operational experience with handling Workload Identity lifecycle.
• Dev Ops & CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of ITIL framework, Change and operations
