Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our clients high profile business advisory services company. You will be working with their software development team on a variety of bespoke software solutions that solve real world business problems for their customers.

Whats on Offer?

Permanent Role based in Wellington CBD
Hybrid Work Arrangement (4 days in the office, 1 day WFH)
Staff Lunches 3 times a week

The Software Developer will provide solutions to technical issues, and is responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.

Ideal requirements:

5+ Years of relevant industry experience
Good knowledge of the company product development lifecycle and the process tools
Sound knowledge of estimation techniques
Good knowledge of design patterns
Sound industry trends awareness
Excellent knowledge of web development technologies, including MVC.NET, j Query, CSS3, HTML5, Angular JS
Excellent knowledge of database development technologies, including MS SQL, My SQL, Stored Procedure, ORM & Micro ORM
Strong knowledge of using web development tools, including Nuget, Git / Bitbucket, Jira, Visual Studio and CICD
Sound Knowledge of unit testing methodologies and frameworks
Some experience or interest in leadership - eg running meetings
