You will supervise and organize materials and labor on construction sites. Tasks include:
Delegating tasks to workers.
Creating and monitoring schedules for each worker.
Ensuring that work sites are clear of any hazardous materials prior to the commencement of projects.
Conducting team meetings with workers and outlining how tasks are to be carried out.
Managing budgets and tracking costs.
Coordinating workers throughout projects.
Ensuring that all materials, supplies, tools, and equipment are procured in a time-efficient manner.
Monitoring daily procedures to ensure that proper quality is maintained.
Handling onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner.
Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Ensuring periodic maintenance and proper storage of construction equipment and tools.
Complying with Work, Health, and Safety regulations.

Job pre-requisites:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience with verified evidence, preferably gained in New Zealand.
A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification in management, construction management, quantity surveying, or other related fields is preferable but not essential.
