Our Engineering and Collaboration Team is a small dedicated team of cloud engineers and collaboration specialists. We have overall responsibility of managing our Microsoft platforms while being at the forefront of new solutions.
Everyday is different working with a variety of people and technology.
Ō te tūranga - About the role
The Senior Workplace Engineer is a critical role within our Digital and Information Services team that delivers technology outcomes for Work Safe Mahi Haumaru. You will provide technical expertise for all aspects, including designing, building, and supporting the underpinning technologies needed to run a modern digital workplace.
Ko tōu ake mahi - What You'll Do

  • Ensure products or services comply with Work Safe Mahi Haumaru architecture requirements
  • Work alongside project delivery teams to assist in the delivery of solution design and recommendations to ensure project outcomes meet strategic direction
  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead new initiatives to ensure Work Safe Mahi Haumaru stay on top of new technologies
  • Mentor other team members to upskill and uplift capability
Ko ngā pukenga ōu - What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in a technical lead role within a large/complex organisation
  • Proven experience working within an IT Service management framework
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Technology Stack (including Azure and Microsoft 365)
  • Willingness to share knowledge with wider team to uplift capability
