About the role
Our Senior Procurement Specialist will support our Corporate, Retail and Technology and Transformation procurement activities to deliver the best value and commercial outcomes that align with our strategic objectives and priorities at Genesis Energy. This will be a fantastic opportunity to positively impact multiple areas of our organisation as well as build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Our Senior Procurement Specialist will support our Corporate, Retail and Technology and Transformation procurement activities to deliver the best value and commercial outcomes that align with our strategic objectives and priorities at Genesis Energy. This will be a fantastic opportunity to positively impact multiple areas of our organisation as well as build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Identifying opportunities and strategies for procurement initiatives instilling best practice, advice on ways of working with third parties and sourcing activities.
- Creating strategic sourcing including planning, negotiation of contracts and implementation.
- Manage relationships and build trusted relationships with key business areas as well as with suppliers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys building relationships and working in an environment where no two days are the same.
The ideal candidate will also have;
- Extensive experience in procurement in a complex commercial environment.
- Experience working in corporate and technology services or similar.
- Energy sector experience would be advantageous.
- Experience in implementing best practice procurement systems, processes and standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
