We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join the Fletcher Construction team on the Eastern Busways Alliance (EBA). With a completion date set for 2027, this role offers the opportunity for extensive HR experience on a major infrastructure project in Auckland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced advisor who is eager to take the next steps toward becoming a Business Partner and is looking for development to support that journey.
As part of the alliance, you will be connecting with the business at a strategic and operational level across employee relations, talent management, people strategy and policy, organisational development, workforce planning, remuneration, systems and analytics, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing.

What you will bring to the role:
- Strong Employee Relations experience with exposure to managing complex ER cases
- Prior HR experience in a construction environment is highly sought after
- Minimum 5 years generalist experience
- True generalist HR experience including supporting business cyclical tasks
- Good systems experience, knowledge of Workday and Employment Hero beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and ability to encourage best practice amongst project staff
- Passionate about coaching and developing staff/leaders
- Confident partnering with differing leadership levels and capability.
- Have excellent attention to detail, time management and prioritisation
- Continuous improvement mindset

The project features cycling and walking paths, safety upgrades, environmental enhancements, roading improvements, and a Reeves Road flyover, offering more travel options and more reliable journey times.
