Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy

Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the Pharmacy programme content as well as to the teaching of the students in the graduate-entry Pharmacy programme commencing in 2025. In addition, teaching into other graduate-entry Health-related clinical programmes will be expected. This role will further contribute to the teaching, postgraduate thesis supervision and administration requirements of Division of Health in accordance with university workload norms. This role will include the development original scholarship and research, and to undertake professional/community/iwi service activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
If the successful candidate has not yet completed their Ph D, there is an expectation that they will take full advantage of the Division of Health staff fees concession scheme to do so. For more information about Division of Health please visit our website here.
Salary for a Senior Lecturer position will range between $107,177 to $140,599 per year, based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?
You will hold a Master's, or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy and thrive in a higher education environment, where you have recent or current clinical practice experience and the ability to provide clinical teaching in a practice setting. You will have demonstrated success in undergraduate teaching including the ability to lecture to large numbers and conduct small group seminars and tutorials effectively. Preferably, you will have a track record of high-quality research publications and an established national and international research profile.
