We're looking for a Senior Engineer with a background in Dev Ops, SQL, Terraform, Octopus Deploy, AWS to work in our Auckland office! We are also open to candidates who want to work from our other NZ offices or remotely in NZ.
The team:
You’ll be a key part of the (Dr DRE) Platform-as-a-Service Database team, a cross-functional agile infrastructure development team. Our goal is to create a data platform to provide Xero product teams with highly available databases in a consistent and automated fashion. You will build on the technical capabilities of the team to provision, own and maintain the production Database infrastructure, troubleshoot performance issues, build ancillary tooling, automation and resolve production incidents

As a Senior Engineer in the Dr DRE, you will make an impact by applying your engineering skills to understand and drive the development of applications and tools that improve the scalability and performance of Xero.
