We are looking for an experienced Cathodic Protection Technician to join CCE’s New Zealand office located at New Plymouth. The role will include office and field based cathodic protection projects, including travel to sites all over New Zealand. CP Technician Responsibilities include
Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and reporting on cathodic protection systems for a variety of structures.
Commission cathodic protection systems.
Requirements:
Exceptional English literacy.
Minimum 5 years Cathodic Protection technical field experience with qualifications from NACE or ACA (CP Technician or Technologist preferred).
Previous exposure to oil & gas, pipelines, marine and similar assets and infrastructure.
Knowledge of the procedures, skills and technology used for sacrificial anode and impressed current cathodic protection systems on a wide range of buried or immersed metallic structures.
Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel to complete site work where required.
Drivers Licence.
