Te tūranga - The role and your impact The Senior Adviser Audit Services manages the delivery of a risk-based audit program focusing on continuous improvements and value add recommendations in line with industry best practices. They are expected to be able to constructively engage and influence at all levels to support a robust risk management culture, whilst at the same time remaining objective and independent.This role will provide you with an opportunity to gain an understanding of our objectives, risk management environment, and the varied needs of our stakeholders. You'll work with a supportive manager who is committed to helping you grow and succeed.Your key responsibilities will include providing end-to-end assurance on complex audit activities in accordance with IIA Standards. You will also be responsible for advising management on control effectiveness and contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal control framework by building on the Te Pūtea Matua's system of internal controls, and much more.Ō pūkenga - About you If you have:
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience as an audit team leader in the financial services industry
Relationship management skills with ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience leading the end-to-end audit process including quality assurance activities
