Are you a dynamic and goal-driven professional with a passion for business development and relationship management? We are seeking a talented Senior Account Manager to join our Auckland team and make a difference to our members within the accounting and finance profession.
ABOUT THE ROLE - MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA
As a Senior Account Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of accounts, driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Your relationship-building skills will make you the go-to contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and value is maximised.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Create and implement sales and engagement strategies with primary accounts.
Discover opportunities for growth, business development, up-selling, solution selling and expanding market reach.
Convert insights into valuable outcomes for our members.
Work alongside internal stakeholders to address member feedback, resolve inquiries and maintain a cohesive approach.
Maintain ongoing interactions with members to adapt to evolving expectations and objectives.
Identify account management risks and develop strategies to minimise impact on members.
Assist regional teams in collaborating with local councils, advisory groups, and committees to reveal new business opportunities.
ABOUT YOU - HE KŌRERO MŌU
This is no ordinary Account Manager role; it's a unique blend of relationship management and business development. If you're commercially savvy, driven, and passionate about achieving results, we want to hear from you. What you will bring:
Experience in business development or account management, with a track record of delivering strategic plans and achieving KPIs, ideally from Accounting, Financial Services, Financial Software, or Banking
Experience in identifying business opportunities, upselling, solution selling and expanding market reach
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills especially with senior stakeholders/C-suite, with a history of stakeholder management.
Proficiency in presenting and creating presentations
Ability to leverage organisational strengths to create compelling value propositions for target market segments.
Commercial acumen and analytical ability to convert insights into value for our members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI and CRM systems
