Restaurant Manager

Giovi which runs 3 Italian restaurants located in Queenstown, requires a full time Restaurant Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small professional team with a focus on homemade pasta & pizza.
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and an hourly rate of $28 to $34 per hour depending on experience.
Daily duties require running the restaurant on a day-to-day basis ensuring that it is fit for purpose.
Whilst in service monitoring customer satisfaction.
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs. Managing bookings reservations and greeting guests.
Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff. Pricing of menus, wine lists and cocktail menu.
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Planning and organising special functions.
Managing maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of the front of house area.
Monitoring and complying with the sale and supply of alcohol act.
Maintain food safety standards.
This position requires A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a restaurant manager. A passion and understanding of Italian food and long-term commitment to the profession.
Excellent presentation and personality, with a team player attitude.
Current LQC and manager’s certificate.
