About the role: Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for neonatal care? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a 0.8 FTE position, offering a fulfilling and dynamic work environment where you’ll make a real difference in the lives of our tiniest patients and their families. Our SCBU is a Level 2A unit with 12 cots, providing specialized care for sick and premature infants in the Hawke's Bay region. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to both infants and their whānau.

Skills and experience:
Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse.
Proven experience in neonatal nursing, particularly in a Level 2A or equivalent setting.
A strong commitment to providing family-centred care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A desire for variety, challenge, and ongoing learning in a dynamic healthcare environment.
