Our Infusion Centre has an established dynamic and growing department based at Waitakere Hospital. We are responsible for providing nursing care and the administration of outpatient infusions for a variety of services. We are looking for a registered nurse that enjoys working in a challenging specialty area and have strong clinical skills. Ideally you will have experience with administering chemotherapy as well as excellent cannulation and phlebotomy skills. You will have a reputation as a positive and dynamic nurse who is well organised, flexible and able to manage the demands of competing priorities in a busy clinical environment. You will have a key role in the delivery of patient care for our Infusion Centre. Providing service excellence to our patients is essential, we currently deliver care to both Haematology and non-Haematology patient groups as well as outpatient infusions. We are also administering Sub-cutaneous chemotherapy for haematology patients. Creating an environment that is welcoming, professional and supports quality service delivery is our priority. We are looking for someone that is focused, have excellent communication skills, motivated and have experience being a member of a team working collaboratively to facilitate and co-ordinate care that achieves health outcomes.
