Practice Nurse
The Opportunity:
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and you will be delivering high-quality Primary Health Care through being a Registered Nurse in a Central Auckland location
This is a busy role supporting the local community with Primary Health care. This Medical Centre is looking for someone that has a good understanding and experience as a Registered/Practice Nurse and is still wanting to grow professionally, and that has a strong cultural understanding and acceptance who can support the community with a positive approach.
The Role:

The Role:
- Assessment of the urgency and severity of presenting problems through history taking, and examination before referral to the appropriate GP. Assessment can be via telephone or 1:1 consultation with patient, attending unbooked or as an urgent fit-in.
- Follow-up of patient test results and communication with patients where appropriate, according to practice protocol
- Undertaking treatment options and carrying out appropriate clinical interventions and procedures as directed by the doctors, advising and providing information
- Prompt answering of nurse telephone
- Set-up and assistance with minor surgery
- Be part of the Nursing Council of New Zealand + legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Have NZ experience
