About the role: We are on the hunt for an Operations Administrator supporting branch operations including but not limited to assisting with resource forecasting and planning (people, equipment and logistics). Also assisting finance and payroll functions and general administration support for the branch, in a proactive and efficient manner to facilitate the smooth operations of the branch. How will you spend your days? Tasks including but not limited to:
Administration support: extract and unburden administration tasks from the operations team including coordinating training and maintaining accurate records for the branch
Assist the Operations Manager with preparing job quotes for customers within scope
Assist the Payroll and Finance team completing dayworks entries and checks and prepare and issue month end adhoc invoices to ensure timely payments.
Arrange team events including booking venues, catering, invites as required.
Ensure fleet information is current and up to date in Navman.
Proactively participation in the Acrow Group Wellbeing Committee by being the local Wellbeing Champion for the branch (coordinating with Skyhigh Christchurch as required)
Ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels within scope
We would love to talk to you if you have:
Experience in a similar administration role, preferably within the construction, manufacturing or logistics industries.
Comfortable working in a yard environment and dealing with different personalities, / cultures.
Strives for a high level of customer satisfaction (internal and external) and delivery focus always.
Great communication skills – both verbal and written.
Able to connect with, build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Able to tailor communications to a varied audience and nationalities.
Comfortable to work independently (undirected) and as part of a team.
Top notch attention to detail, organising, prioritising and time management skills.
Has good initiative and willingness to take on tasks / projects through to completion.
Punctual, honest, reliable, hardworking, with a positive attitude.
Agile, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel (to at least intermediate level).
Learning agile, able to quickly grasp latest technology and systems as required.
