We are on the lookout for a lively, fun-loving kaiako with a passion for positivity to join our beautiful Montessori centre! This role is available to unregistered and registered kaiako, if you have Montessori experience, we would love to hear from you!
This is a 24 hour a week role from Tuesday – Thursday, fixed term from November 2024 – May 2025 with opportunities to extend.
About us:
We offer an all day Montessori Curriculum at Grey Lynn Montessori and our routines start with children being welcomed into our childcare centre and being able to freely choose from various curriculum areas. All our materials are displayed on low shelves that are easily accessible for children, empowering them to follow their innate interests. This supports and strengthens their ability to concentrate, make their own discoveries and master skills at their own pace.
What are we looking for?
The ideal applicant should be able to attune to the Montessori philosophy however you do not need to have previous Montessori experience although this would be an advantage. We are looking for someone who is able to be flexible with hours and able to build and develop strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.
