• Develop the local PR strategy for the New Zealand market, including building the agency relationship to manage always on PR and media storytelling
• Work cross-functionally with the Brand Communications team to manage and execute key campaigns and category moments in New Zealand, across Rugby, Outdoor, Originals, Running, Football and Sportswear/Training
• Work cross-functionally with Brand Communications, Digital and Sports Marketing teams to support partner activation and publishing for owned and partner social channels
• Support paid media activation in New Zealand, including asset development and execution
• Support retail (DTC) activation objectives including events and store launch plans
• Manage MAEX budget efficiently, following internal protocol
• Ensure brand guidelines are upheld across all executions of the brand activation

• Strong project management skills
• PR experience, prior experience in PR / local PR knowledge beneficial
• Knowledge of the paid media landscape
• Industry awareness and market knowledge
• Rounded marketing experience essential across the marketing mix (Brand, Digital, PR, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate in a cross-functional team
• Budget management experience
• Passion for sports

• PR KPIs (Media Reach and Brand Buzz)

• Brand Media KPIs (Unaided Awareness, Reach)

• Successful development and execution of New Zealand brand communications strategy

• University degree in business / marketing / communications

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience

• Brand Marketing knowledge, Consumer / PR activation experience and event management
