Rosewood Matakauri is looking for a dynamic and motivated Kitchenhand!
What you will do
The kitchen is where the magic happens in our Luxury Lodge - and you can be part of that! We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchenhand to join our team. The right applicant must be self motivated, a team player and work well in a high pressure environment. Duties include -

In addition, we endeavour whenever possible to provide staff with 2 days in a row off each week. Having your own reliable transport is important and you will also need a valid working visa to apply.

What you will do

- Keeping the kitchen clean and completing daily tasks as per cleaning roster
- Washing up of all pots, pans and dishes
- Basic food preparation & storing of delivery’s as required by shift leader
- And ensuring that health, safety and hygiene is maintained at the highest possible level.
What you will bring
We are looking for a self starter and excellent team player who can demonstrate -
- A basic knowledge of all areas of the kitchen
- The ability to think on your feet as we have many guest requests and menu changes each day
- Good time management.
- Flexible and willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
