Health New Zealand is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated Well Food Department at Hillmorton Hospital to help feed our tūroro (patients) and whānau (family).
Our Kitchen Assistant kapa (team) are responsible for ensuring that the needs of each tūroro (patient) is met to the highest standard. Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of while maintaining clean and tidy working areas. There will be some light cooking and meals on wheels.
Salary starting from $23.75 per hour, Based on the Etū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.
Ko wai koe - About You We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexible candidate who is able to bring their passion for food to our Hillmorton facility. You will also be responsible for maintaining and adhering to our Food Control Plan, Health New Zealand code of conduct and Health and Safety procedures.
Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.
