Welcome to Life Pharmacy Queensgate! Here amidst the lively atmosphere in the city's prime shopping location, Life Pharmacy Queensgate is viewed as a destination store. At Life Queensgate we are excited to provide a comprehensive range of high-quality dispensary and clinical services to the residents of the Hutt Valley and surrounding suburbs.
This currently includes Vaccinations, UTI consultations, Covid19 antivirals, Vitamin B12 administration, ECP & Sildenafil consultations, AIA & CAA wellness checks, Clozapine dispensing, Long Term Condition management, Selected Oral Contraceptives prescribing, NRT consults, Throat swab/ treatments for Strep throat, blood pressure checks.
We are constantly looking to expand our services even further. This large array of services means that you will be involved in more than just dispensing prescriptions and packing blister packs! Our dispensing team is made up of 12 staff across 2 intern approved sites, this way you can have the best of both worlds with us.
Most of the time will be spent in the Queensgate Mall pharmacy - where you will encounter a wide range of different dispensing and clinical scenarios. From engaging consultations and queries to interesting prescriptions, this is a site with limitless learning opportunities. The other intern approved site is 100 metres away and is a small friendly pharmacy located in a medical centre.
This pharmacy is great to gain experience in a completely different setting where you can work alongside GP's and get to know the regulars on a first name basis Your preceptor has experience as an assessor at intern assessment centre and intern training days.
This knowledge and experience will be invaluable throughout the year and beyond. You will work with and learn from a large diverse team of pharmacists, PACT technicians, technicians and retail staff - all of whom have years of knowledge and practical experience. Life Pharmacy Queensgate will pay a competitive intern hourly rate and all your EVOLVE fees and training courses costs will be covered.
