Health Care Assistant - Bay of Islands

Mid North District Nursing – based across clinics in Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Kaeo or Kaikohe

Permanent full time 1.0 FTE

The Mid-North District Nursing team works across four offices in Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Kaeo and Kaikohe, and visits patients in their homes and on site in our clinics. Our purpose is to encourage and educate families and individuals towards wellness and self-reliance in health.

This position is permanent full time working 40 hours per week which may include some weekends and/or public holidays. The role requires travel around the region, so you will need a full NZ drivers licence to be eligible to apply.

We are looking for a motivated Health Care Assistant with excellent communication skills and who is patient, flexible, and adaptable. You will need to work well under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) and enjoy variety.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, no prior experience or qualifications are needed to apply. However, a good command of verbal and written English and computer skills will be essential to succeed.
