Key Responsibilities:
- Design development - create visually compelling graphics for print, digital, and social media platforms, including reports, posters, banners, infographics, and digital content.
- Brand consistency - ensure all design work aligns with the Council’s branding guidelines and visual identity.
- Collaboration - work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Creative input - bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design projects, contributing to the overall creative direction of the Council’s communications.
- Quality assurance - review and proofread design materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Design enthusiast: you have a portfolio that showcases your flair for design and your ability to adapt your style to various mediums and messages.
- Creative problem-solver: you approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness, always looking for new ways to engage and inform.
- Eye for detail: you understand the importance of detail.
- Team player: you thrive in a collaborative work environment.
- Experience: two years of professional graphic design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).
