Food Technologist
The Role

To apply, you must have current New Zealand citizenship or residency.
- Modify existing products and processes and develop new prototypes.
- Assist in identifying new ingredients, technologies, and processes for food product development.
- Develop prototypes and analyze the nutritional content, sensory attributes (Taste, texture, aroma and, appearance) and, shelf-life of food products.
- Organise and evaluate product tastings.
- Build relationships with key suppliers.
- Review market trends and communicate to the mangement
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualified (Food Technology, Food Science, or similar)
- Understanding of ingredient functionality.
- Self-motivated.
- Project management skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Previous relevant experience will be an advantage
