With our Leisure Centres more popular and busier than ever, our fitness teams play a vital part in ensuring that visitors are kept motivated, interested, and eager to return!
As a Fitness Consultant, you will be helping people achieve their health and well-being goals and delivering fitness programmes for all ages and abilities across our diverse community. You will write and deliver fitness programmes and ensure our members are using the correct workout techniques.
You will also deliver a variety of group fitness classes from Box Fit to HIIT, to aqua aerobics in addition to their gym shifts.
This is a 16-hr permanent part-time position. Due to the nature of our Leisure Centre operating hours being open Monday to Sunday flexibility is essential in this role, being available to work one weekend shift, early mornings and evenings. Shifts below:
Monday: 4PM - 8PM
Wednesday: 2PM - 8PM
Saturday: 12PM - 7PM

It goes without saying that you will be passionate about fitness, health, and well-being.
A recognized fitness-related qualification is required to maintain a current REPs certificate for this role. Knowledge of training including fitness testing, group classes, and monitoring of clients. You will also be required to uphold a current First Aid Certificate.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive people who thrive on client contact and have a proven ability to communicate effectively to provide a high level of client satisfaction through the programmes you deliver.
Joining a proactive and dynamic team, you will be a keen team player with a flexible approach. You will be comfortable asking questions and building your knowledge to be able to use your initiative to provide innovative and appropriate fitness solutions. With impeccable time management skills, you will be confident with administrative tasks and processes.
