Ferry Skipper
Real NZ is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ferry Skipper to join our team. If you have a passion for the Whakatipu region and love delivering extraordinary experiences, we want you at the helm!
As a Ferry Skipper, your key responsibilities will include safely navigating and operating our ferries, ensuring timely adherence to schedules, skippering charter groups, and engaging with potential guests at your central kiosk hub on Steamer Wharf. You will maintain a strong focus on customer service, creating a seamless and exceptional ferry experience for all our guests.

What We're Looking For:
- A Skipper with a Restricted Limits (>12m Passenger endorsed) certificate of competency.
- Knowledgeable in applicable Maritime rules, safety systems, and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to ensure the safety of staff, customers, contractors, and the public on board.
- Competence in managing emergency situations on any vessel under command.
- Enjoy the most remarkable daily backdrop.
- Work with a team of legends.
- Receive full training and clearance on our ferry fleet.
