Experienced Intermediate Laboratory Technician

Do you have experience as a laboratory technician and are you looking to further advance your career?
We have a great opportunity available to join our team at Hill Labs (R J Hill Laboratories Ltd).

We have a permanent, full-time role available for an experienced Intermediate laboratory technician to join our team based in Hamilton.
This role guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week, hours will be as per the laboratory team roster and may include weekend work.
As a Technician at Hill Labs you will have the opportunity to develop within our technician career pathways and advance your skills further within our laboratory operations area.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting routine lab operational duties
Working closely with the extended team and the Analytical Technology group
Instrument and method troubleshooting; calibration and maintenance of lab equipment

ABOUT YOU

Minimum 1-year laboratory experience
May have a tertiary qualification in science or relevant discipline
Sound knowledge and demonstration of ISO 17025 guidelines
Working knowledge of laboratory data analysis software
Self-motivated, team orientated, solution focused with good attention to detail
