Taitara Mahi – Employer Connector
Fixed-term, full time, until 2025
The Employer Connector will increase employer engagement through building and maintaining strong relationships with identified and emerging employers. They will deliver culturally sensitive and appropriate support to rangatahi and whānau by providing intensive holistic support with the Mahi for Youth Team using the Te Whare Tapu Whā framework and with the Tikanga values of manakitanga, rangatiratanga and whanaungatanga. Known for their quality and ability to deliver they will be an integral part of our Youth & Community Development Team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proven experience in engaging with the business sector and getting successful employment outcomes.
- Cultural sensitivity and skill in working with Māori and Pasifika youth, their whānau and communities.
- Initiative and be able to work in a team environment.
- A cool and collected manner when working under pressure.
- An innovative and proactive approach to solving problems.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in employment placement
