Delivery Assistant - Dispatch Department

We are on the hunt for a committed individual to join our Dispatch Department as a Delivery Assistant. If you enjoy physical work and have high level of customer services this opportunity is for you!
The Role:
As Delivery Assistant you will be an integral part of our operations, going on the road with our truck drivers, loading and unloading the truck, making sure everything’s handled safely, and delivering great customer service along the way. This role is for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is reliable, and can work well with a team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 04:30am until completion
Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and efficient assistance to customers and team members.
Work with the driver to safely load the truck at the start of the day and unload goods at customer locations.
Handle the products with care and follow safety rules to avoid accidents or damage.
Ensure all safety and quality standards are upheld at all times

What we are looking for:

Prior experience in a similar role, food industry, or a delivering assistant or warehouse environment is advantageous, but not essential.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced type of work.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy products.
A forklift license is advantageous, but not essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A can-do attitude and a willingness to help others and think of customers in everything they do.
Honest team player, integrity, and reliability are essential.
Be accountable and driven to better their performance each day.
You’ll need to be okay with working on Saturdays sometimes, depending on the delivery schedule
