A bit about the role… We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate to join our Building Materials Distribution Centre team. In this role you will be responsible for:
Processing, organizing and storing inventory in the Distribution Centre
Packing and preparing orders for delivery
Supporting the Dispatch Team as and when required
Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment
The successful applicant will be highly organised and able to work at a fast pace. In addition, we are ideally seeking:
Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move items.
Knowledge or interest to learn about all the products.
Knowledge of relevant legislative governances e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act, and act in accordance with them.
Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.
IT competency.
This role is a full-time position, Monday – Friday and will be rostered between the hours of 6:00am – 5:00pm
