We are looking for a Clinical Lead Small Animal Vet to join our team at Humanimals

This is a Lead GP Vet role in a well-established Small Animal Clinic. You'll enjoy a range of interesting cases - with a great balance of consults/ medicine and surgery. As Clinical Lead you'll play an integral role in the management of the clinic, working closely with our Practice Manager to create an environment of team work and high clinical standards of care. The majority of the lead Vet role is clinical - but also encompasses a broader scope of tasks critical to the success of the clinic such as rostering, interviewing, mentoring, regulatory compliance and driving initiatives for clinic growth.

Our clinic is well-equipped complete in-house laboratory (IDEXX), Endoscopy, Digital radiography, Extensive and modern dental equipment and Ultrasound.

This is a full-time position with flexibility for a 4 day week and shared weekend + after hours roster (with excellent additional a/h remuneration)

What We're Looking For:

Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian - either an experienced leader, or ambition and drive to step into a leadership role
BVSc or equivalent, NZ Vet Council registered - comfortable with both consults and surgery + some sole charge
Strong Communicator with a passion for mentorship and developing a strong team
Eager to contribute to our positive clinic culture
Dedicated to providing the best care for our animal patients.
