Job Overview: We are seeking a Checkout/ Online Manager who not only manages our Checkout/Online operations with precision.
Key Responsibilities:

HR Leadership: Develop and implement training programs tailored to enhance skills and productivity. Conduct regular performance reviews, organize departmental meetings, and ensure all staff have up-to-date training plans.
Recruitment and Staff Development: Manage the recruitment process for new staff, ensuring a smooth induction and integration into the team. Address any gaps in skills with appropriate training and development plans.
Operational Management: Ensure the checkout/ Online area operates smoothly, maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance with all relevant legislation.
Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, manage stock levels, and ensure all transactions are handled with the highest degree of accuracy and security.
Customer Engagement: Handle customer complaints with diplomacy and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

Working Relationships:

Reports to: Service and Administration manager
Direct Reports: Assistant Checkout/Online Manager, Supervisors and Staff.
Liaisons: Customers, Departmental Managers, Sales Reps/Merchandisers, Visitors, Staff

Requirements:

Strong background with proven experience in retail management.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve staff issues effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
