Centre Manager | Stanmore Bay Pool & Leisure Centre

Our Leisure Centres play a fundamental role in our goal to get "More Aucklanders, More Active, More Often".
We are looking for a proactive leader craving an opportunity to showcase their ability to lead a large team at Stanmore Bay Pool & Leisure Centre and be the driving force behind delivering operational excellence that meets the needs of the community.
In this busy role, you will be managing a facility with teams in Aquatics, Learn to Swim, Fitness, Recreation, and Customer Support functions.
Key to this role will be your excellent people relationship skills, with an ability to unite teams and bring people together towards achieving goals.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You will have experience successfully managing and operating a recreational facility or customer service-oriented team, or solid recreation industry experience.
A practical knowledge of business planning, monitoring and operational management will come with you, alongside a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, ideally from the community sector.
Operational excellence and fiscal responsibility are additional key drivers for this role. Not only delivering sustainable financial results but seeking to increase performance and grow the business via continuous improvement initiatives as well as proposing new programmes to target the local needs of our community.
