Care Manager - iCAMHS

Exciting
opportunity to cover a Parental Leave for 12 months - Care Manager for infant,
Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service (i CAMHS)

i CAMHS is a regional service for infants,
children and youth aged up to 18 years with moderate to severe mental health conditions.
Our multi-disciplinary team is made up of psychiatrists, mental health nurses,
psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers, all trained in a
range of treatment modalities.
An
important aspect to this role is inter-agency work, including working with
community services such as Oranga Tamariki, schools, GPs, and local Māori
networks. In this key role, you will coordinate and manage care plans,
support families, and ensure the delivery of effective mental health services
to infants, children, and adolescents.

We
are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Care Manager, who is either an
allied health professional, or registered nurses, with at least 2-years -
experience, preferably within an i CAMHS or mental health setting. You will be
experienced in working with young people and you will be up to date with
current research findings relating to major mental health issues and
trends in infant, child, and adolescent mental health service delivery. You
will also have a background in delivering comprehensive assessments and
evidence-based interventions for infants, children, and youth.
You
will be the type of person who fits into a cohesive team culture of
collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines and
will engender confidence, trust and rapport with clients, their support
networks and other agencies and service providers.
The
successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ
visa at the time of applying.
