Established in 1931, The Teahouse has long been cherished for its tranquil ambiance and historic significance, serving as a beloved gathering place for generations.
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Café Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the daily operations of our café, including serving customers, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve customers efficiently and with a smile.
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to a high standard.
Handle the sale and preparation of cabinet foods, both hot and cold.
Heat food items as required and ensure they are presented attractively.
Serve ice cream cones at our kiosk.
Operate the cash register and handle payments.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the café area.
Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or issues promptly.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a café or food service environment is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food handling and safety.
Barista skills are a plus, but training will be provided.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
