Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant/bar operations
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Organize and supervise shifts
Ensuring updated Menu in consultation with chefs
Undertaking planning,review and improvement of Restaurant/bar menu items and prices regularly
Taking bookings and making arrangements for organising large functions
Undertaking customer feedback regarding food and services and making plans to improve the offerings
Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels and best purchase prices for restaurant/bar operations
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Estimate future needs for Restaurent/Bar stock & goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
Any other job duties as agreement between employer and employee for smooth operations of business.
An ideal candidate should have: At least two year of hospitality experience or a relevant Diploma qualification. Current General Manager Certificate Free from drug and criminal history Excellent communication and intra-personal skills Provide at least two work related referees 30-40 hours a week.
