Assistant Tiler
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Our ideal candidate will have either a relevant qualification or a work experience of at least 2 years.
Other skills and personal attributes required:
- Review plans, measure, mark surfaces, and plan the tile layout.
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old materials, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning thoroughly.
- Apply adhesive to surfaces and set tiles in place.
- Cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures using tile-cutting tools.
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and spaced.
- Grout tiles and clean off excess grout.
- Apply waterproofing systems.
- Create mosaic patterns with colored tiles.
Our ideal candidate will have either a relevant qualification or a work experience of at least 2 years.
Other skills and personal attributes required:
- Punctual, reliable with can-do attitude.
- Must be physically fit for heavy lifting, carrying heavy tiles and tools.
- Be able to adhere to Health and Safety at all time.
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate ranges between $28 to $32 for full-time, permanent roles with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed.
