Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
You will be working within a regulatory practice team within Manatū Hauora – Ministry of Health to ensure the practical implementation and ongoing operation of our regulatory regimes.
You will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the processing of applications, and associated activities, under the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme, the industrial hemp and psychoactive substances frameworks. The position interfaces with industry and ensures applications received are complete and able to be processed. The position is responsible for ensuring that the processing of applications is tracked and well managed.
Ko pūkenga - What you'll bring
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as health, science, business administration and/or equivalent work experience
Proven experience in prioritisation and managing a variety of deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to a range of stakeholders
Ability to learn and adapt to processes and workplace tools
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster great working relationships
Proven organisational skills
Understanding of the machinery of government
