What you'll do….
The Warehouse Officer will report directly to the ASL Supervisor and work to support with stocktaking, inventory management, record management, administration, and general warehouse duties.
- This is a Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday 6:30am to 5:30pm. However, flexibility will be required as you will join the on-call roster, with availability on the weekend when required (further details discussed in an interview).
The key accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Process inward and outwards contractual services for our customers
- Stock control and inventory management
- Providing high standard customer service ensuring expectations are being met.
- Adhere to all operational processes and duties as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times.
- Maintaining equipment in a safe and complete working condition at all times
- Hold Safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and an incident/injury-free environment.
- Efficient and effective handling of confidential material
What we're looking for…
You will be someone who has the ability to get on with people from all walks of life. Someone who can take instructions, implement a daily/weekly work plan, and demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude.
- Exceptional experience with warehouse management systems
- You are an energetic, outgoing person who is organised, can manage your time well, and multitask effectively.
- Comfortable working at heights is a must! ( You will be trained in using the Man-Up machines)
- Forklift license and experience preferred but not essential
- Applicants must be fit, healthy, and able to lift heavy loads when necessary
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Drive improvements in warehouse processes and compliance
- Clean NZ Driver’s license (Full preferred)
