  • We're offering a competitive salary starting from $68,371 to $75,501, depending on experience

Are you passionate about making a difference? In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for feedback providers, ensuring they feel heard and valued. As the face of feedback at Oranga Tamariki, you'll engage directly with individuals through incoming and outgoing calls, conducting initial assessments and guiding feedback to the appropriate channels for resolution.
Your role is vital in shaping our approach to service improvement, as you will help transform insights from feedback into actionable strategies. You'll be part of a dedicated Feedback and Complaints Team, working collaboratively to deliver a consistent and impactful response to all feedback.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Key requirements of the role include:
  • Take a central role in the receipt of feedback in line with the Feedback Principles, CCS Operating Frameworks and values of Oranga Tamariki
  • Take incoming and make outgoing calls from/to feedback providers to listen to and understand their concerns
  • Recognise when there may be relationship management issues and seek advice as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Oranga Tamariki and other departments and agencies as appropriate
  • Understand, empathises with, and identifies the needs concerns and priorities of clients, and ensures that services are delivered to account for these
  • Identify any organisational risks and take action to minimise their impact
  • Effectively manage risks within the group and establish and contribute to the maintenance of a risk management framework
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
