Job Duties:
Job Requirements:
- Prepare and cook food to meet special dietary requirements.
- Prepare, season, and cook food for dining, buffet, and catering services.
- Portion food, place it on plates, and add gravies.
- Garnish food as requested.
- Take and serve food orders, and handle payments from customers.
- Operate cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, microwaves, and deep fryers.
- Maintain appropriate temperatures for ovens and other cooking equipment.
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Receive and check kitchen supplies, preparing food in accordance with council requirements and food safety regulations.
- Ensure that the premises are safe from fire risks and comply with all fire safety regulations.
- Promptly report any customer complaints to the employer.
- Follow instructions from the owner in all aspects.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in cooking Indian cuisine.
- Strong customer service skills, as we prioritize excellent service for our customers.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Good time management skills
- Availability to work on weekends.
- You must be knowledgeable about health and safety practices.
- Clean criminal record
