Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the AMS practice, providing strategic direction and oversight.
- Manage a team of AMS professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the team is well-trained, motivated, and aligned with the organization’s goals.
- Oversee the delivery of AMS services, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices, processes, and standards for service delivery.
- Monitor service performance and implement improvements to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services that meet or exceed expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review and approve continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the AMS practice.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues related to AMS services.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks and issues.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
- Develop and execute the AMS strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet service delivery goals.
- Monitor and review the performance of the AMS practice, making adjustments as needed.
- Manage the budget for the AMS practice, ensuring services are delivered within budget.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for AMS services.
- Oversee the management of AMS contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Resolve or escalate contractual issues as needed.
- Negotiate contract renewals and amendments to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing an AMS practice or similar service management role.
- Strong understanding of SAP AMS or other enterprise application management services.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of AMS professionals.
- Fluent Dutch required.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong client engagement and relationship management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in IT service management (e.g., ITIL) and SAP AMS are highly desirable.
