Role and Responsibilites
As the Lead of the practice Oracle Business Applications, you will be a key player in shaping the Oracle area, fostering a collaborative culture that spans colleagues, customers, and partners both within and outside Sopra Steria. You will lead a team of approximately 20 professionals specializing in Oracle ERP and JD Edwards implementations, functional application support, and business analysis. You will report to the Business Director of the Oracle Area.

- Inspire and guide your team, attracting talented professionals from the Oracle community and supporting their career development.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, helping them address challenges and develop solutions using Oracle technology.
- Be involved in the full customer journey, starting with the proposal process to win the customer to delivering the solution when we have won the deal.
- Take a leading role in shaping and executing the strategy for Oracle Business Applications within Sopra Steria.

The Oracle area includes around 75 professionals divided into five practices, working with the complete Oracle stack.
Our Area mission (this what we do) is to deliver high-quality Oracle services that support our client’s digital transformation, optimizing Oracle solutions which give them a competitive edge compared to their competitors.
Our Area vision (who we aspire to be) is that we want to be the leading strategic Oracle partner in the Benelux, excelling in Oracle Business Applications, Cloud Infrastructure, Data & Integrations, and Custom Applications Development. Achieve this by investing in professionals, delivery methods, and Oracle expertise.
The Oracle Business Applications (OBA) practice, consisting of passionate Oracle implementation consultants, support engineers, and business analysts, is currently looking for a new Practice Lead due to the upcoming retirement of the current Practice Lead.

Qualities and Experience
- You hold a relevant HBO or WO degree and are fluent in Dutch and English;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Oracle Business Applications as an implementation consultant or as a pre-sales consultant, particularly in Oracle Fusion Applications implementations and preferably in international environments;
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in team management, facilitating the development of team members;
- Experience with pre-sales activities (either by executing or by managing);
- You have a proven track record in delivering customer solutions and meeting commitments;
- Strong leadership skills focused on inspiring, motivating, and engaging both your team and clients;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep understanding of the Oracle market and client needs; You thrive in collaboration and networking within and beyond Sopra Steria.
