We are seeking a Warehouse Quality Assurance Project Management Lead with experience in the retail or warehouse sector to lead hardware testing and quality assurance for a new warehouse.
Your primary role will be to ensure all systems, particularly delivery systems and automation, are thoroughly tested and ready for hand-off to end users. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and external vendors to oversee end-to-end testing and operation where you will be responsible for developing test strategies, building detailed checklists, and giving the final approval on the system's readiness for operation.
Key Responsibilities Leadership and Stakeholder Management
This is a senior management role focused on delivery, stakeholder coordination, and operational oversight.
Delivery System Testing
Design and implement testing strategies for the warehouse delivery systems and their associated hardware.
Create and maintain detailed checklists to ensure system functionality and hardware performance are up to standard.
Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing to validate the system's readiness for hand-off.
Hands-on Collaboration
Act as the key point of contact, collaborating closely with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth system integration.
Be actively involved in the testing process, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Issue Management & Problem Solving
Track, manage, and prioritize issues that arise during testing, keeping a detailed issue log.
Work on resolving problems swiftly, ensuring that delivery systems meet all quality requirements.
Vendor & SLA Oversight
Monitor partner performance and ensure they meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
Set and manage clear expectations with vendors to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Reporting & Approval
Provide regular updates on testing progress and any issues to the U.S. Quality Manager.
After testing, give the final approval to confirm the systems are ready for operational use.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse/retail quality assurance, particularly in delivery systems.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage vendors.
Proficiency in Atlassian, Jira, and Microsoft Office.
Effective communication and leadership in an onsite environment.
