POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chef de Partie is responsible for ensuring the highest standards in food preparation and presentation, and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with consistency in taste and presentation.
- Supervises the kitchen brigade within his section.
- Conduct regular quality checks on all dishes leaving the kitchen.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff.
- Assist in inventory management and cost control.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in luxury hotels or fine dining, with at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie.
- Culinary diploma or degree.
- Strong culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
