Auditing Associate
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Auditing Associate to join our team at Sanford Federal. The Auditing Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our auditing processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

- Conduct financial and operational audits to evaluate internal controls, risk management practices, and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare audit plans, including risk assessments, audit objectives, and audit procedures.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical reviews to assess the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
- Identify control weaknesses, deficiencies, or areas for improvement and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in clear and concise audit reports.
- Communicate audit results to management and stakeholders and collaborate on the implementation of corrective actions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure audit processes remain current and effective.
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or finance preferred.
- Knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
